My little baby is back online!

Fixing things feels awesome.





So this is what happened between the computer and me this morning:


*Dahan switches the power on, presses the ON button*

*My com stones*

*Dahan restarts, puzzled*

*My com continues to stone*

*Dahan restarts again*

Whoa suddenly my com comes to life!

It says some rubbish, I press "Start Windows Normally"

It doesn't start Windows normally.

It goes back stoning.

Wtf.

So I restart once again, it stones summore.

And I prepare to operate on my computer.

I SCREW her belly open.

Unplug, Set to BIOS mode, Replug.

Restart!

*stone*

Wtf x2

*rapes all my hardware with my SCREWdriver*

SUDDENLY I SEE IT!

It was the graphic card!

The SCREW fell out (I think it got loose after a few years of "accidentally" kicking my com around)

So I said to the graphic card: "screw you!"

And ta-da! My baby's healthy again!

I wonder why when sunny calls I'm always in the toilet.
Peeing. Pooping. Showering.

If I'm not in the toilet, the next most probable place I'd be would be is Dreamland.
Sleeping. Snoring. Drooling.

Or maybe at the computer?
Typing. Clicking. Cursing.



Either way I'm unavailable 80% of the time she calls.

Bad timing eh?
So sorry sunny, I really don't rush and lock myself in the toilet whenever my phone rings.




Bad timing can be really really dangerous sometimes though.


I CLIMBED OVER THE *&%^ING CURB WHILE DOING THE THREE POINT TURN AND PARKING.


Just a second too late.
Just a second too early.
Either way the curb (and my timing) are now my mortal enemies.


I guess I'm lucky it didn't happen during the actual test.

Had the TIME for a long walk today.

Old is relative

Compared to my lil nephews, "Uncle Han" is old! Very very old and wise!


So why do I get funny offer letters that say:

"As of 1 Sept 2009, you will be 17 years and 10 months old.
Therefore you are legally classified as a minor and we are obliged be the law to follow a different set of procedures bla bla bla"


Which ends up with my apps getting delayed, AND another interview.

To explain that university is a grown-up place full of grown-ups.

Wtf.















I think I'm old enough to realise that thank you very much.
